The track is about a liberal justice system that seems to care more about the rights of the perpetrator of the crime(s) than it does for the victims. A seemingly universal reflection on the current state of the world and in this instance the Norway massacre were 77 people, mostly children were killed and it is used as an example of the Western World’s seemingly constant disregard for the sanctity of human life, where murderers and rapist sometimes, in fact often, receive ridiculously lenient sentences but the scars that the surviving victims carry, they will carry for the rest of their lives.
