Be Kind To Animals from REINCARNATION 420 (for Tuff Gong) an album by ‘Les Paul’s’ (The Paul’s).
Paul is an avowed vegetarian, as he tells us in the song, that Gandhi, Buddah and Muhammad were also. In the Book of Genesis it states that God created animals to please our eyes and it doesn’t state ‘for us to eat’, but in any case, all animals feel and don’t deserve the cruelty often inflicted upon them by humans, and they don’t deserve to be killed for sport by rich hunters to have their bodies displayed as trophies. Even ants have a right to live and Paul urges us to look on the ground when we walk to be careful not to tread on them!
