Show Me The Way is a song originally written by London’s Luke Jackson and myself as part of the Sir Cliff Richard project. I had first worked creating a number of songs with Luke when he was in his early teens being driven to his many gigs all over the country by his father. Luke has now fully established himself in his own right in the UK folk scene and has performed with many main-stays of the British folk scene including the great Martyn Joseph and also Ami Wadge, co-writer of a number of hits with Ed Sheeran. I asked Luke to join this project and he returned with this amazingly crafted and beautiful song, ‘Show Me The Way’ sung with crystal clear almost choir-boy-like vocals that make this song the perfect way to finish an album dedicated to BELIEF!

Show Me The Way lyrics
So dark is The Way
And cold is the night
It’s so easy to stray
Show me your light

From the circle of ice
To the ring of fire
The darkness will rise
On the wings of desire

By the light of thy soul
Show me the way
By the light of thy soul
Everyday

I was lost in the night
And you showed me the way
Turned darkness to light
By you I’ll stay

From the circle of ice
To the ring of fire
The darkness will rise
On the wings of desire

By the light of thy soul
Show me the way
By the light of thy soul
Everyday

You’re the first and the last
You’re the light of this earth
You’re the future and past
You gave my life worth

By the light of thy soul
Show me the way
By the light of thy soul
Everyday, everyday, everyday
