Christmas Snow and the London Rain is an original song from the album Influences
Written, produced and with lyrics and vocals by Paul Robert Thomas

The song follows the narrator trapped in a hot, arid desert, far away from everything they know and love. Overwhelmed by isolation and the struggle to survive, they yearn for the hustle and bustle of London—specifically its signature winter weather and seasonal charm.

Christmas Snow and the London Rain lyrics
Stranded in the desert
With no direction home
Blinded by the sun
No-where to go
What did I come here for?
So far away from home
Crying in the night
I feel so all alone
Oh how I miss the crowds
The fog and the trains
But most of all I miss
The Christmas snow
And the London Rain
London rain dancing as it falls
Singing so sweetly hear it call
London rain pouring through my soul
Washing my heart making it whole
Every day’s a struggle
Just to survive it all
Walking in the sand
It’s not hard to fall
You can just go crazy
From being so alone
Oh how I miss the crowds
The fog and the trains
But most of all I miss
The Christmas snow
And the London Rain
One day I will return
Down my memory’s lane
Singing in the streets
Washed by the cold rain
Home is where your heart is
And mine isn’t here
If I don’t make it
Please bury me there
I’ll be near the crowds
The fog and the trains
Most of all I’ll be near
The Christmas snow
And the London Rain
London rain dancing as it falls
Singing so sweetly hear it call
London rain pouring through my soul
Washing my heart making it whole
London rain dancing as it falls
Singing so sweetly hear it call
London rain pouring through my soul
Washing my heart making it whole
London rain dancing as it falls
Singing so sweetly hear it call
London rain pouring through my soul
Washing my heart making it whole
