Lyrics

The Tale of Jimmy Bean

Jimmy Bean was such a charming fellow

He lived by a fluorescent green meadow

It glowed in the night

Like a luminous bright light

In the day turned the sun green from yellow

Jimmy Bean he raised two headed chickens

His sign it read “Your Fingers You’re Lickin'”

Said “it gave more meat

Served with luminous green wheat

The flesh from the bones you’ll be pickin”

Jimmy Bean he made a pretty shilling

He prayed he’d see tomorrow God willing

His hair it turned grey

He was so determined to stay

Even though not much else stayed living

Oh Jimmy Bean, Oh Jimmy Bean,

Your fingers are all turning green

Oh Jimmy Bean

Oh Jimmy Bean, Oh Jimmy Bean,

Your hair is falling out

You haven’t enough breath to shout

What will become of you Jimmy Bean?

What will become of you Jimmy Bean?

Jimmy Bean he could not father babies

He said it’s probably for the best maybe

If you ask him why?

You see a hole in the sky

He said if you think too much

You’d probably go crazy

Oh Jimmy Bean, Jimmy Bean

Jimmy Bean, Jimmy Bean

Your fingers are all turning green

Oh Jimmy Bean, oh Jimmy Bean

Your hair is falling out

You haven’t enough breath to shout

What will become of you Jimmy Bean?

What will become of you Jimmy Bean?

Oh Jimmy Bean, Oh Jimmy Bean

Oh Jimmy Bean, Oh Jimmy Bean

Your fingers are all turning green

Oh Jimmy Bean, Oh Jimmy Bean

Your hair is falling out

You haven’t enough breath to shout

What will become of you Jimmy Bean?

What will become of you Jimmy Bean?

What will become of you Jimmy Bean?
